| Website: | you can be a winner in the game of LIFE~!! |
you may be asking yourselves, why
pishee_buhguh?
*chuckles*
me not know~!! actually, mcdonalds sells a popular (well, it is to me, at least) burger called the filet o'fish.
mom didn't want jacki and i to have a happy meal. 1) the beef was questionable, 2) she and our dad agreed that we already had enough toys (blatant LIES!!!), and 3) fish was better for us.
looking back, i think that buying 3 filet o'fish sandwiches was cheaper than buying 2 cheeseburger happy meals. *frowns* ((that's my theory))
but i digress. back in the day my mom didn't know how to pronounce (feel-lay), insisting that it was read the way it was spelled (fill-it). to make things worse, my mom spoke in a fairly thick korean accent, and in the korean alphabet, the closest thing to an 'f' sound is 'p'.
i remember being 6 and hearing how my mom called it a peel-it oh pishee. eventually 'peel-it oh pishee' evolved to 'pishee buhguh'.
now that i've given you a ridiculous-but-true account of how
pishee_buhguh came to be, i hope you'll pop by every now and then to read or see some of my... uh... creative works~!!
hugs, kisses, and tons and tons of chips,
jules
